Italian.net cheaper than French.net
Now it may get personal
A quick look today brought me to the sale of Italian.net on Sedo. Unbelievable that Italian.net is going for a mere 1600 euro, about $2000. How can the big families in Italian and New York allow such a travesty? The domain French.net fetched around $25,000 a couple months ago and to watch the Italians valued at 1/10 the French? Well that is just not tolerable. Nothing says Italian like Italian.net.
We expect some self-respected member of the Italian community in New York or Chicago might pick up on this bargain and make sure the Italian.net gets its vig and show some respect.
This should be a great auction and we are waiting to see who gets to develop this gem of a property.

Want to Buy a Domain Name? Want to Sell One? Well we found a lot of people have the same needs. You want to sell your domain name? You are looking for a domain name? You might even want a lot of domains to make a new network. Many issues face companies and people on the Internet and in the non-virtual world who are looking for or trying to sell domains and web sites/services.
From personal experience it is a daunting task and there are not too many tips and many pitfalls along the way.
I find that auctions and auction listings are very helpful as they lay out the prices and what people are paying these days. To get into the big auctions is no easy task and costs up to 30 percent of the sale! Many domains are often started at artificially low prices while the big parking houses push their own domains. Not a big deal really as that is what we should all be doing, pushing our domain names and getting them to those needing those names.
To help with this we found a new site called WinYour Domain that has free auctions and free auction listings in its launch period. You can list your domains and make your own custom store with logo and special URL locator just for you (bypassing the main pages). There are no costs to list, sell or buy! That alone can save you $1000’s on almost any domain!
The WinYour Domain site has a forum for buyers and sellers to talk and chat. Tips on site development, software, hosting and other subjects one might need to buy, sell, develop or host a website on the Internet.
We wish this guy luck in this new endeavor because it is open and does not get in the middle of a transaction. Once a sale is complete either you deal direct or you take it to your favorite escrow for 3 percent. It is a new site and pretty barren but with direct access to buyers and sellers with no costs it should be growing pretty fast.
